I met Nikki and Steven for their engagement session one afternoon in the Mission District in San Francisco. They wanted to start off their session at the colorful and vibrant Clarion Alley. There were so many feels just walking down that area. Seeing all the beautiful artwork that is displayed in such a unique place made me want to stop and take pictures in front of each one! Each piece brought a specific mood and had its own story to tell. We jumped right in and started to shoot down the alley which made for some amazing photographs. Each photo was unique and let me tell you, Nikki and Steven were complete naturals in front of the camera. I could instantly see the love between them. Whether it was Steven sneaking in kisses in between shots, or Nikki giving Steven cute looks, it was apparent these two definitely had a connection that transpired through my lens! Here are a few shots from our time at Clarion Alley!
After Clarion Alley we decided to take a short drive to Bernal Heights Park. This park is truly a hidden gem in the city. We “hiked” to the top of the mountain (aka hill) and saw one GORGEOUS view of the city! One of my favorite things about San Francisco is that one minute you can be standing in the urban streets of the city in the hussle and bussle of people and traffic, but the next minute you can be walking through beautiful greenery in a serene and calm park surrounded by tall trees and different animals! As our session continued, we took our time and enjoyed what this beautiful place had to offer. Again, Nikki and Steven did their thing and showed us what they were all about. You wouldn’t be able to tell in these pictures that they were trying not to freeze their butts off! Haha
